Beyonc Is Striking in a Futuristic All-Black Leather Ensemble
Beyoncé had been relatively quiet on Instagram since her concert film, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, hit theaters in November. However, this week she’s gotten back to sharing her iconic outfits on our feed, and boy, are we thankful.
Late last night, Queen Bey logged on to show off a futuristic leather ensemble that would have looked right at home on her Renaissance World Tour (maybe during a rendition of “Alien Superstar”?).
The pop legend modeled a black leather cropped cross-over jacket from Alaïa that featured an attached belt that wrapped around her stomach. She layered the jacket over a cropped hooded sleeveless top, also from Alaïa, which featured a slouched turtleneck and was made of a knit jersey material. And to round out the fit, she added a pair of black high-waisted leggings from the same brand, embroidered with silver dressmaker pins along the waistband and the sides of the legs.
Accessories-wise, Beyoncé carried two bags in the slideshow—the first was a quilted black fold-over clutch with a gold chain handle, and the second was a parallelogram-shaped shoulder bag from Maison Margiela in white, which featured a magnetic closure on top and an extra handle attached to the side.
She also sported chunky silver chainlike statement earrings and a pair of Poppy Lissiman Le Skinny sunglasses. Oh, and we can’t forget those strappy leather stiletto pumps from Paris Texas.
This is the second bold winter outfit Beyoncé has worn in the past few days. The superstar shared an Instagram carousel last weekend in which she wore itty-bitty shimmering silver Prada shorts paired with a sheer turtleneck bodysuit, also by Prada, which revealed her white bra underneath. To give it a dash of winter maximalism, she added a huge luxe fur coat in a light gray.
