Beyonc Wears the Most Glamorous Minidress at the 2024 Super Bowl
Beyoncé has officially touched down at Las Vegas’s Allegiant Stadium for Super Bowl LVIII.
Shortly after her surprise Verizon commercial aired, stadium cameras caught a glimpse of the superstar hanging out in her suite alongside husband Jay-Z. (Their daughters, 12-year-old Blue Ivy and six-year-old Rumi, were seen at the stadium ahead of the game earlier tonight.)
For the event, Bey put a country-western twist on her signature glamorous style, opting for a head-to-toe Dolce & Gabbana ensemble. The look consisted of a black minidress with sequined mesh panels, a plunging neckline, and long sleeves, accessorized with a black bolo tie that displayed an ornate blue pendant in the center.
In photos shared to her website, the singer styled the look with thigh-high black leather boots, a long black overcoat, a black cowboy hat, and narrow black rectangular shades.
Beyoncé’s Verizon ad surprised fans by teasing the arrival of her highly anticipated follow-up to 2022’s Renaissance, Act II. The commercial shows Beyoncé attempting to break Verizon’s 5G network by doing whatever it takes to attract attention—from opening a lemonade stand to putting a “BarBey” spin on Barbie—before ultimately just giving the order to “drop the new music.” Soon after the clip aired, she released the first teaser video for Act II on Instagram, revealing the album will be out March 29.
She teased the arrival of Renaissance in an interview for Harper’s Bazaar’s September 2021 cover story.
“I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible,” she said at the time. “I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half. Sometimes it takes a year for me to personally search through thousands of sounds to find just the right kick or snare. One chorus can have up to 200 stacked harmonies. Still, there’s nothing like the amount of love, passion, and healing that I feel in the recording studio. After 31 years, it feels just as exciting as it did when I was nine years old. Yes, the music is coming!”
