Comme Des Garcons Clothing Sale at Croatian Church NYC
Dan Lecca
Those who worship at the altar of Rei Kawabuko may want to break out their vague excuses about having to wash their hair or attend a family reunion this weekend. After all, the New York Market Market, AKA the Comme des Garçons sale, runs Friday through Monday at the Croatian Church on West 41st Street in New York. According to the colorful flyer we got, clothes and accessories, including pieces from past collections, will be 70% off. (It goes on to add that the sale is for "the intrepid Comme des Garçons faithful, the occasional fan, as well as the daringly undecided and the blatantly unsure." Yup, that covers pretty much everyone.) No word on whether the Fall 2011 knotted scarf dress at left is included, but we certainly hope so.
New York Market Market takes place at the Croatian Church, 504 West 41st Street, between 10th and 11th Aves, from 10am-7pm on May 6th, 7th, and 9th, and 12pm-8pm on May 8th.
