Emily Ratajkowski's Y2K Style Look Involves a Low-Rise Skirt and Platform Boots

Emily Ratajkowski put her own spin on a controversial footwear style while out and about in NYC yesterday.

The model and My Body author stepped out wearing an outfit that combined several ’00s-era trends into an effortlessly cool look. The layered 'fit included a black jacket with silver buttons, which she wore open over a cropped, ab-baring black hoodie and gray top. She added a midi-length crochet skirt in a bright red hue, which hung low on her hips. Tying the look together was a pair of UGG Classic Dipper boots, in a classic beige.

She accessorized the ensemble with gold hoop earrings and a matching ring, while wearing a black shoulder bag with a gold chain and black cat-eye shades by Hailey Bieber X Vogue Eyewear. Her dark-brown hair was worn short with a middle part, paired with a glossy nude lip.

This week, EmRata transitioned her experimental street style to early autumn dressing, via some eye-catching layered looks. While out in NYC’s West Village on Wednesday, she wore a cozy, sporty look comprised of an oversize blue crewneck sweatshirt, a distressed brown leather jacket, gray skinny jeans, and white-and-gray New Balance sneakers worn with fuzzy white-and-purple socks. She further accessorized with rectangular brown tortoiseshell sunglasses and large gold hoop earrings.

The next day, the star debuted a frilly, romantic look on Instagram, modeling a white see-through maxi dress in a knit floral pattern. She wore the long-sleeved piece with black lingerie underneath, including a triangle thong that was visible through the sheer fabric. She completed the look with glossy black leather thigh-high boots with small heels.
