Eva Longoria Attends Gold Gala In a Bejeweled Little Black Dress

Eva Longoria made a show-stopping entrance over the weekend at Gold House's second annual Gold Gala.

The multi-hyphenate was honored with the first Gold Ally Award at the event, which was held at The Music Center in Los Angeles on Saturday, May 6.

The gala kicked off AAPI Heritage Month (May) and highlighted 100 Asian Pacific leaders who have greatly impacted American culture and society in the last year. This year’s honorees included actors Ke Huy Quan, Sandra Oh, Iman Vellani, and Steven Yeun; as well as Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria, YouTube CEO Neal Mohan, K-pop girl group NewJeans, transgender advocate Geena Rocero, and comedian Ali Wong.

Longoria—who is Mexican-American and has made efforts to introduce Hispanic culture to the United States with her work—was honored for being an ally to the AAPI community.

"The thing we probably have most in common is that most of us have parents who don’t understand what we actually do for a living," she said in her acceptance speech, in which she highlighted various similarities between Asian and Latin American cultures.

For he occasion, the Desperate Housewives alum wore a stunning black midi dress by David Koma. The piece featured a structured corset-like bodice and glittering silver embellishments at the top. She wore it with black Aquazzura sandals embellished with silver crystals, and layers of diamond jewelry by Shay Jewelry, including long drop earrings and various rings.

Longoria continued the sophistication with her glam, opting for rosy makeup, a glossy pink lip, a soft pink manicure, a dark smoky eye, and her signature slicked-back ponytail.
