Ferrari expands into fashion for the first time
Ferrari is making a move into the fashion industry. This weekend the luxury car company, which is planning to diversify its business as part of a new strategy, presented its first fashion collection via a show in the brand's hometown of Maranello in Italy.
The collection consisted of 52 looks and was made up of both menswear and womenswear, although much of the collection was classed as unisex.

It was designed by Rocco Iannone – a man who has previously worked at a number of fashion giants, including Giorgio Armani and Dolce & Gabbana – while the collection was modelled by supermodels including Mariacarla Boscono and Natalia Vodianova.

This first fashion collection is part of a broader diversification project from Ferrari, in which is is expanding into various other industries in the hope of expanding its fan base.
"This circular vision encompasses the various expressions of Italian creativity, with a view to adding F for Ferrari to the three Fs – Fashion, Food, Furniture – that identify 'Made in Italy' as an ambassador of Italian culture across the globe," the brand explained of the move in a press release.
