Gabrielle Union's Gown Includes a Cheeky Bodysuit and Completely Sheer Skirt
Sheer dressing has become a fixture on the red carpet, but Gabrielle Union's latest look offers a cheeky new spin on the trend.
On Friday, the Bring It On actress made a gorgeous appearance at the American Black Film Festival screening of her Netflix rom-com The Perfect Find. For the Miami Beach event, the star chose a daring black-and-white ensemble by French designer Burc Akyol, featuring a black satin turtleneck bodysuit with cape-like sleeves made of gauzy white chiffon. The high-cut thong piece is attached to a completely sheer skits with added opaque panels, strategically placed around the hips to slightly cover the rear.
Union completed the look with strappy black sandals embellished with crystal, embellished buckles, geometric diamond drop earrings, and an array of silver rings. Her hair was pulled back into a long, hip-length ponytail, and her classic glam look included shimmery eyeshadow, dramatic black liner, and a glossy nude lip.

The Being Mary Jane actress also shared some candid pics of the ensemble on Instagram, along with a clip of her back as she walks toward a black SUV. "Just enough to get a glimpse 😉," she wrote in the caption.

On Tuesday, the star stepped out in a light-gray monochromatic look from Michael Kors’s fall/winter 2023 ready-to-wear collection, comprised of a long blazer coat layered on top of a knit sweater with a plunging V-neckline and a matching teeny-tiny microskirt. She topped off the look with earthy-brown satin pumps and a statement silver choker necklace, adorned with a large polished agate pendant.
