Hailey Bieber Wore a Cropped Trench Coat With Nothing but Hot Shorts

Does anyone else ever look as cool as Hailey Bieber does when she’s on a coffee run?

The Rhode founder recently made yet another glamorous appearance running errands in Los Angeles. She stepped out in an edgy interpretation of a classic fall staple: a cropped khaki trench coat from Balenciaga. She styled the playful piece over a black base, which included a black T-shirt and matching black hot shorts. To cap off the look, she wore a pair of slouchy leather knee-high boots in black from Maison Margiela.

Bieber kept her accessories just as sleek and sophisticated as the rest of her ensemble, topping off the look with black rectangular sunglases, thick gold hoop earrings, and a large black leather clutch from Bottega Veneta.

The model has a tendency to layer large, oversize pieces over tiny bottoms.

During another coffee run last month, for instance, she had a monochromatic all-black moment that consisted of layering a huge ribbed-knit sweater over a black cutout bodysuit from Frankies Bikinis. At the time, she elevated the sporty chic outfit with her go-to tote bag—a boxy black leather purse from Saint Laurent—black oval sunglasses also from Saint Laurent, her signature bedazzled B necklace designed by Alex Moss, thick gold hoop earrings, and a bright red baseball cap.

Bieber previously talked about her attitude toward getting dressed as a public figure in an interview for Harper’s Bazaar’s September 2022 cover story.

“I get photographed so much that I feel like sometimes I put pressure on myself,” she said. “Even if I’m just throwing on jeans and a T-shirt, I want it to be a dope pair of jeans and a great T-shirt!”
