Harper's Bazaar Reunites With Jimmy Choo and the Cultivist for Second Annual Event

Publish date: 2024-06-01

Last year, Harper’s Bazaar helped fashion lovers storm Art Basel in Miami, where they hosted an event in conjunction with Jimmy Choo and The Cultivist. After quite a successful turnout, the partners decided to join forces again in 2023, but this time, they invited their guests to the friendly city of Dallas.

In 2022, the hosting trio held a cocktail party at model and jewelry designer Ivana Jermoluk’s house, which included an installation created by fiber artist Katrina Sánchez. This year, on Monday, December 11, the celebration was equally spectacular, featuring an art talk from multidisciplinary artist, Alicia Eggert, and a dinner held at the Bar Charles speakeasy within the Design District of Dallas, hosted in part by editor Miguel Enamorado.

The event was a fusion of fashion and art lovers, with creatives coming together to share their love of though-provoking art and stylish shoes. Guests chatted about their love of Jimmy Choos under a glowing neon sign courtesy of Eggert, which read, “You are on a mountain.” Eggert’s work, which uses a mixture of physical installations and language, is often a play on commercial signage that is meant to cause reflection in her viewers.

Along with Eggert, the guest list included a mix of The Cultivist members in Dallas, plus the company’s executive director, Joey Lico.
