Harry Styles Flaunts a New Little Mustache
- Harry Styles debuted a new look—specifically, a little mustache—during a trip to Modena, Italy.
- Olive oil company Villa Manodori uploaded a photograph of the "Watermelon Sugar" singer at Casa Maria Luigia, where he showed off both the 'stache and a bottle of the brand's olive oil.
- Styles previously said that he has been spending time learning Italian in quarantine.
There hasn't been a huge reservoir of lighthearted news to occupy my thoughts during my months-long solo quarantine—other than maybe Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas's many dog walks and the addictive and mind-numbing salve that is Animal Crossing: New Horizons. But now, lo and behold, I have a new distraction: Harry Styles's new mustache.
Olive oil company Villa Manodori broke the delightful news on Instagram. In the brand's shared photo, Styles poses cheekily with a bottle of Villa Manodori's best held close to his face. He wears a green-and-white-striped T-shirt tucked into a pair of blue jeans and white sneakers with pink and white laces. Of the utmost concern, however, is the furry creature relaxing lackadaisically in the spot above his upper lip and below his '70s-dad-styled tinted sunglasses.
"Many thanks for your visit @harrystyles," the olive oil company captioned the photo, which was taken at Casa Maria Luigia. "Enjoy our little gift!
I have many questions reserved for the "Watermelon Sugar" singer. Like, why? And also, did I miss the memo stating that dressing like Steve from the beloved children's program Blue's Clues is the new Italian getaway uniform? But even so, will you marry me?
Apparently, Styles has spent his quarantine trying to better his Italian. "It's a little difficult but it's all right. I'm lucky I'm with friends in our little safe self-isolation pod," Styles told BBC Radio 1Xtra Residency, per People. "It's a very strange time but we're just being careful, listening to music, playing games, doing some face masks—you know, the classic quarantine stuff!"
He continued, "Now is the perfect time to learn a new skill and try a new hobby or something, right? We have nothing but time. I was learning Italian and doing some sign language classes."
