How to Watch 'The Last Thing He Told Me'
The 2021 mystery novel The Last Thing He Told Me is getting a prestige Apple TV+ adaptation, courtesy of Jennifer Garner and executive producer Reese Witherspoon.
Based on the bestselling book by Laura Dave, the limited series stars Garner as Hannah, a woodturner whose husband of 14 months, Owen (played by Game of Thrones alum Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), inexplicably disappears during an embezzlement investigation. All Owen left was one note for his wife and another, attached to a bag of cash, for his teenage daughter, Bailey. Hannah and her stepdaughter are left to unravel the mystery behind his disappearance, despite the duo's tense relationship.
The Bay Area-set series is both an engaging mystery and a family drama, anchored by Hannah and Bailey as they slowly begin to find common ground while each new revelation places them in greater danger. Garner's already drawing in praise ahead of the series premiere, as the Alias star returns to the small screen.
Ahead, see how you can stream the new series.
