Irina Shayk Partied in Sweatpants and Diamonds After the 2023 Met Gala
Irina Shayk shook off some layers of designer clothes to party after the Met Gala—but she kept her strings of diamonds.
The supermodel was seen arriving at an after-party in the most luxe model-off-duty look: sweatpants, heeled boots, and bold diamond jewelry. Shayk traded the Yohji Yamamoto gown she wore on the carpet for comfy grey sweats and a ribbed white tank without a bra underneath. She also carried a maroon bomber jacket from Alpha Industries.
Shayk added some edge to the casual loungewear look with bedazzled gold boot heels with mustard yellow shoelaces, and elevated it with her diamond jewelry—which included plenty of earrings, layered necklaces, and a massive diamond-drop choker. She also kept her Met Gala glam on: a relaxed wavy hairdo and bright raspberry eyeshadow with a matching lip.

The cool look was a big contrast to Shayk's ethereal Met Gala ensemble: a silky white dress by Yohji Yamamoto with big rosettes at the top and twisted straps at the shoulders. She paired the asymmetrical piece with matching ivory ballet flats.
Shayk recently spoke with Harper's Bazaar for her May cover story about what beauty means to her. "We’re teaching our daughter that the most important thing is to be kind to people. Every time we send her to school, we’re like, 'Just remember kindness and love.' So I think that’s what true beauty is," she said. "It’s not about putting on masks, putting on makeup, brushing your hair, putting on nice clothes. With TikTok and Instagram and social media, my daughter is growing up in a different environment than I grew up in, so sometimes it kind of scares me. But most important is teaching our daughter bigger values than being pretty on the outside."
