Jennifer Lopez Stars in Ben Affleck's Dunkin' Super Bowl Commercial
Bennifer’s Dunkin’ reign continues.
Husband and wife Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez starred in a new commercial for doughnut-and-coffee chain Dunkin’, which aired tonight during Super Bowl LVIII—and featured even more A-list cameos, this time by Jack Harlow, Matt Damon, Jack Harlow, and Tom Brady.
The spot begins with J.Lo at work in the recording studio, one of her famous bling cups at her side (bearing the doughnut brand’s bright orange logo). Then we cut to Affleck in a car with Harlow, in a scene teased last week. “I don’t think you should do this,” the rapper tells the actor.
“Last year, she came to my work,” the Oscar winner responds. “Now I gotta show her what I can do.”
An assistant then announces Affleck’s arrival at the studio to Lopez, who looks mortified. The Air director—in a bright orange Dunkin’ tracksuit with Boston embroidered across the back—then busts through the door, yelling, “What up, Bronx? For your consideration, here comes the Boston massacre: the DunKings!”
Accompanying him is an entourage of men in matching orange tracksuits, including retired New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (“Touchdown Tommy on them keys!”) and Affleck’s longtime friend and frequent collaborator Matt Damon, who, upon being introduced by his Good Will Hunting costar, observes, “Sometimes it’s really hard to be your friend.”
What follows is a coordinated rap-and-dance performance, culminating in Damon half-heartedly asking, “How you like them doughnuts?” and quickly adding, “I’m so sorry.”
“We talked about this,” Lopez tells Affleck. Deflated, he ushers his crew out of the studio.
Outside, Damon tells his friend, “Remember when I told you I’d do anything for you? This is ‘anything.’”
“Chill,” Affleck replies. “They’re naming a drink after us.”
This not Bennifer’s first commercial for Dunkin’. The couple also starred in an ad for the brand that aired during 2023’s Super Bowl.
