Jeremy Allen White Is Dapper in a White Tux at the Delayed 2023 Emmys

Publish date: 2024-06-04

Jeremy Allen White, star of The Bear—and of our Calvin Klein dreams—has arrived at the 2023 Emmys.

At the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles tonight, the actor looked cool and dapper in a sleek white tuxedo by Giorgio Armani composed of a cream double-breasted blazer and a crisp white shirt adorned with pearly-white buttons, accented with a little black bow tie. He finished off the red-carpet look with classic black trousers, shiny black dress shoes, and a chunky gold ring on his middle finger.

White is nominated in the category of Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his lead performance in Hulu’s The Bear. In the hit comedy-drama, White plays an experienced chef, Carmy, who leaves the world of fine dining to take control of his family’s run-down restaurant.

White plays Carmy as a slightly disheveled, slightly chaotic, yet committed and caring entrepreneur. It’s a good look, and one that has launched a fandom dedicated to White, with “Yes, chef” as the group motto.

It also helps that the actor is now the face of Calvin Klein, and recently starred in an ad campaign that saw him posing mostly nude—except for some briefs and a crunchy apple—on a rooftop overlooking New York City.

White, our chef, walked the red carpet alone tonight, as girlfriend Rosalía was not by his side. The pair, who began dating late last year, have been spotted out together various times in the last few months, and just last week were photographed wearing coordinating all-black looks while on a romantic outing in Los Angeles.
