Kate Middleton and Prince William have continued to conduct their official royal engagements, even while in quarantine. The duke and duchess have instead carried out their events via video chat and by using Zoom to communicate with people all over the United Kingdom.

To commemorate VE Day, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spoke with people at a residential home in East Sussex. For the video call, Kate wore a red dress from L.K. Bennett, per @katemiddleton_fanclub, which she accessorized with ruby earrings by Soru. Meanwhile William looked smart in a suit and tie.

This isn't the first time that Kate has worn this particular dress. The duchess was photographed wearing the L.K. Bennett item during a trip to Wimbledon to watch the tennis in 2015.

During the chat, Kate also revealed that Prince George had been studying World War II in school. She explained, "George is just starting to learn about the Second World War." She continued, "He would be really honored to come and speak to you, so maybe another time George could have a quick chat with you to hear all your stories as well."

Understandably, royal fans would be pretty excited for a glimpse of the Cambridge kids at home during quarantine.
