Meghan Markle Wears Green Emilia Wickstead Dress to Commonwealth Day
- Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is completing the last of her royal duties in the U.K. with a bang. Today, she arrived at the Commonwealth Day service wearing a bold green Emilia Wickstead dress.
- Meghan and Prince Harry are also joined by Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, for the annual ceremony.
- This marks the first public engagement with the two couples since Meghan and Harry swapped their titles for a quiet life in Canada.
Duchess Meghan went for a bold and bright statement look for her and Prince Harry's appearance for Commonwealth Day services today.
Though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex did not participate in the traditional processional walk to Westminster Abbey like in previous years, royal fans were able to sneak a quick glance at Harry and Meghan as they made their way to their seats inside.
Meghan stunned in a monochromatic green look—similar to Duchess Kate's attire during her and Prince William's tour of Ireland last week. For the service, Meghan wore a striking, emerald-green Emilia Wickstead cape dress, a hat by William Chambers, and nude stiletto pumps by Aquazzura; she accessorized with a chic mini bag by Gabriela Hearst.

Today's Commonwealth Day service marks Harry and Meghan's last scheduled public appearance as working senior members of the royal family. Beginning April 1, the Sussexes will begin their transition into post-royal life and will no longer use the term royal as part of their independent branding going forward. Within the next few weeks, a new title for their official Instagram account and their upcoming nonprofit organization is expected to be announced.
