Nicole Kidman Is Timelessly Elegant in Black Velvet Dress at Balenciaga Show
Nicole Kidman was a vision of sophistication in an all-black ensemble at Balenciaga’s Fall 2024 Show on Saturday.

The Big Little Lies actor was striking in a black velvet coat dress that featured an open-shoulder design and double-breasted buttons. Keeping things monochromatic black, she accented the centerpiece with matching pointed-toe Knife pumps by Balenciaga, sheer tights, gloves, a clutch, and shades. Kidman rounded off her look with opulent white drop earrings and wore her hair down and straight.
She let her classy night time outfit bask in all its glory under the Los Angeles sun while sitting front row with other stars, including Salma Hayek.
The fashion house took over Los Angeles’ Windsor Square to showcase creative director Demna’s fall 2024 collection. Alongside the unveiling of Denma’s activewear, grunge, and eveningwear designs, Kidman made her debut as the luxury label’s newest brand ambassador.
“Balenciaga has been with me through some of the most memorable events in my life, from my wedding to the Oscars red carpet, I’m excited to work with Balenciaga as an ambassador and look forward to creating more memories together,” she said in a statement on the brand’s website.

She cut an elegantly stylish figure in another black off-the-shoulder gown, this time from Balenciaga’s Spring/Summer 2024 runway. The dress featured a bow accent along the neckline, a sculpted bodice, and a long silk train with a high leg slit. She finished off the look with another pair of pointed-toe pumps and sheer tights.
