The Don’t Worry Darling star cut a stylish figure that was equal parts sexy and sophisticated at the AFI Awards at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles on Friday. She turned a staple officewear set into an It girl ensemble with one simple trick: leaving her top largely unbuttoned. Pugh wowed in a bone-white cropped suit jacket, which she fastened with just the top three buttons. She paired the piece, which featured structured shoulders and a mandarin collar, with matching high-waisted, front-pleated trousers that covered her shoes. As for accents, Pugh opted for silver details in the form of a shiny clutch, diamond gold earrings, and several rings. She rounded off the look with glowy glam, wearing a natural pink lip, rosy blush, a pale pink manicure, and orange smoky eye that made her green eyes pop, while gelling her hair back in a side part.

With award season in full swing, the Oppenheimer star has been serving up stunning back-to-back fashion statements. Tuesday night, she channeled Marilyn Monroe–style Old Hollywood glamour at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ 14th Governors Awards, pulling a glittery pale pink design from Rodarte’s Spring/Summer 2024 ready-to-wear collection. The floor-length, figure-hugging gown featured shimmery sequins all over, a peplum detail at the waist, and crisscrossing halter neckline straps, decorated with a pink floral embellishment, which she paired with strappy metallic silver heels.

A couple nights before then, she struck in a custom-made sheer red Valentino dress—a look that has become a signature of hers. The frock featured embroidered floral appliqué details all over, a wrap detail across the bodice, and a dramatic voluminous skirt.
