Rihanna Wears Pink Feathered Dress at Crop Over 2019 in Barbados

Publish date: 2024-05-25

From Instagram to the red carpet, Rihanna always knows how to deliver a full-on LOOK. But when it comes time for Crop Over in her native Barbados, the singer takes things to a whole new level. And this year did not disappoint.

Arriving to the island's annual harvest festival, Bad Gal RiRi emerged in a massive pink feathered dress. The cloudlike design featured giant feathers sprawling from a pink minidress. She accessorized with diamond earrings, bracelets, and matching jewel-encrusted heels. Taking the look up a notch, RiRi opted for lime green eye shadow (presumable some Fenty) and a rhinestone-encrusted cat eye.

Rihanna Stuns In A Bright Pink Feathered Costume To Kick Off The Annual Crop Over Festival In BarbadosSplashNews.com

Rihanna arrives to Crop Over 2019 in Barbados.

After missing the party last year, this marks Rihanna's first Crop Over appearance since 2017, when she donned an elaborate jewel-encrusted bikini, pearlized D.bleu.dazzled tights, and pink and green feathered angel wings.

In 2015, she wore a similar jewel-encrusted and feathered look to the festival. Though instead of pink, the singer opted for navy blue and emerald green colors.

And let's not forget the bejeweled bikinis and feathers RiRi wore in both 2011 and 2013. In fact, this year's appearance marks the first time Rihanna has skipped the bikini look for a more covered-up cocktail dress.

Held in Barbados every year, Crop Over is a three-month long festival celebrating the island's culture, music, arts, and food. The annual celebration ends every August with a massive carnival parade called Kadooment Day, which is where Rihanna typically blesses us all with her incredible Crop Over looks.
