See how Cara Delevingne's colourful Dior ensemble was made
Cara Delevingne was one star who definitely did not play it safe when it came to dressing for the 2019 Met Gala. The actress wore a partly sheer, rainbow ensemble by Dior for the occasion, complete with an enormous headpiece and a glittery rainbow cane.
When speaking to Liza Koshy on the red carpet, Delevingne said that she defined camp as "an expression of your most outrageous".

The sheer outfit was made up of a tulle playsuit covered in different coloured satin bands, which were teamed with matching tights, gold platform heels and a headpiece by artist Machine Dazzle, featuring fried eggs, bananas, mouths and eyeballs.
Her approach to beauty was just as out there, with the actress' make-up artist, Molly R. Stern, adding a single orange stripe across Delevingne's face.

The ensemble, while custom-made, was inspired by Dior's most recent haute couture collection, which was a celebration of the circus. It took 600 hours to make.
