The cult French cleanser Karl Lagerfeld bathes in is coming to the UK
Beauty fans might have heard about Collosol Eau de Lait, the do-it-all cleansing milk that’s loved by the rich and famous despite its bargain price tag and no-frills façade.
The face and body cleanser is also used as a skin-softening bath soak - one that Karl Lagerfeld swears by.
In an interview with Elle US, the extravagant designer once said, “My bathtub is very big, so I use a full bottle of Collosol every day. The maids pour it in crystal bottles, so I don't have the plastic out. But for one bath, it is one full bottle. I have good skin, but you have to work to keep it. You have to stay tight.”

He's not the only high profile fan; Clémence Poésy and Vanessa Paradis too share a love of the French pharmacie staple, which is also a mainstay is many a Parisian’s routine. It’s billed as hydrating and gentle, although it does contain fragrance which, generally speaking, can trouble sensitive skin types.
From February 6th Collosol will be available to buy online at thefrenchpharmacy.co and from John Bell & Croyden, London’s luxury health and wellness emporium, from £9.50 for 100ml.
