Tracee Ellis Ross Wore One Of Her Mom Diana Ross's Iconic Looks To The AMAs
Last night, the 2017 American Music Awards paid tribute to the legendary Diana Ross, who took home this year's Lifetime Achievement Award. In honor of the occasion, the award show was hosted by her daughter, Blackish star Tracee Ellis Ross.
Throughout the evening, Tracee Ellis wore an array of incredible looks—from a sparkling silver Paco Rabanne gown to an over-the-top tulle Giambattista Valli skirt paired with a white Hanes t-shirt.

The host made a whopping ten outfit changes in total and even wore a few couture looks, including an avant-garde Ronald van der Kemp gown that stood out from the rest. Many of her looks included sequins, sparkle and Studio 54-inspired flair that took a cue from her mother's signature style in the '70s.

The most special look of the evening, however, was an outfit Tracee borrowed from Diana Ross's closet. Paying sartorial tribute to her mom, she wore one of Diana's most iconic looks—a black sequined blouse, white pantsuit and matching white necktie. The icon originally wore the sparkling suit back in 1981 for a performance with Michael Jackson—who also wore the same exact outfit for the ultimate twinning moment.

The mother-daughter style tribute wasn't the only sweet Ross family moment last night, though. As Diana accepted her Lifetime Achievement Award at the end of the show, her entire family joined her on-stage for another sweet moment as her other daughter, Rhonda, thanked her mom with a touching speech.
One thing's for certain: the Ross's are one seriously stylish family. Bow down to Queen Diana Ross, the ultimate boss.
